Mid-week PC game sales hit the internet

If you like saving money and playing PC games, then we have some more deals from you that have popped up on the internet today. Some of these sales last for a week and others last just for one day:

• Steam has just made the first person shooter Breach available for download. Its regular price has been lowered from the previously announced $19.99 to just $14.99. Furthermore the game is on sale until February 2 for a mere $11.99
• Steam also has put Fallen Earth: Blood Sports on sale for the next week, pricing it at just $9.99.
• Direct2Drive has put the THQ racing game MX vs ATV Reflex on sale for today only for just $4.95.
• Impulse has taken 50 percent off the price of the adventure game Runaway – A Twist of Fate for today only.

And Ship Simulator Extremes is also for sale at $14, down 65%. I don’t know anything about this except that it’s been on the Steam front page several times.

We’ve got some mid-week PC game download sales to report on today as you download various other games and free clients. You know who you are.

• Steam has put the strategy game Greed Corp on sale from now until Thursday for just $4.99, a 50 percent discount. Also the four-pack version is on sale for just $14.98.
• Impulse has the space-action game Star Assault on sale for today only for just $5.
• Direct2Drive has put the recently released game Emergency 2012 on sale for today only for just $4.95.
• In related news Direct2Drive has added the first F.E.A.R. game to its list of $5 rental PC game titles.

Mirror’s Edge is available at the EA store (America) for the same price so this might not be an exclusive deal. But it’s a great game and many stores still have it up for sale at $9.99 so you might want to try it out, specially if you trust the amazon downloader and key management system rather than EA’s (which is true in my case)

Ok. So amidst all the deals from Amazon, Steam has put up one of their own. The new Midweek Madness is currently running and it offers Greed Corp 50% off. The game’s relatively unknown but seems to be a mix of Worms 3D and Civ-V. It looks beautiful and offers multiplayer so you could have tons of fun with your friends.

Rome:Total war is a great RTS. One of the best in the Total War franchise. And now, amazon digital download has put it up for sale at a pittance. The Gold Edition includes Rome:Total war and the Barbarian invasion expansion. It’s a great deal for any RTS lover.

Looks like Amazon.com is throwing more deals than we could handle at us. The official game of the movie “Avatar” was seen as mediocre by many but if you like to experience the wilderness of the alien planet and be a Na’vi, then this is your chance

Register with VIAddress.com. They are a U.S. parcel forwarding service which provide you with a valid U.S. address.. FOR FREE. There customer care and PR is a bit on and off so I won’t advice using it for actual parcel forwarding. But you can add this address to Amazon.com and make it your primary address in order to buy game downloads.

If there’s a problem (Only read this if the above step is not sufficient)

I’m not sure whether you have to validate the address by having something delivered to it. I already had made purchases to my address. If this is the case, you could simply buy something small and cheap and have it sent to the address given to you by VIAddress. That should definitely work since the guys at VIAddress accept any delivery and you now have a solid U.S. address.
